In The Workplace
(Resume in Adobe Acrobat Format)
Diane has been consulting since 1987 when she founded Brander and Associates in Bayfield, Wisconsin. Primarily through word of mouth and repeat customers, she works with public, private and non-profit sectors in the work world. Her background in public sector includes Director of the Institute of Government in Palm Beach County Florida in the 80's. Diane has also worked in personnel and management in the private sector as well as in higher education. She has been an executive director and later the co-founder of a non-profit retreat center, Potter's Farm, in northern Wisconsin.
In addition to a broad base of working experience, she has successfully consulted in a five state area for fifteen years. Recently she worked as a counselor with at-risk teens in a para-military program in southwest Montana. In March, 2002, she returned to northern Wisconsin.
Diane is the author of Blindwalk to Potter's Farm, An Odyssey of Spirit and co-author of the Happy Factor and Job Satisfaction Challenge. She is trained in low ropes facilitation and in mediation. She has worked for fifteen years as an Open Space Technology consultant. Her doctoral course work included courses in educational psychology, organizational communication, small group process and speech and theater. Her energy is infective and her presentations are filled with insight and discovery.
In Personal Life
In addition to working professionally for many years as an organizational consultant, Diane is a minister in the Eternal Life Church, a non-traditional church founded in New Mexico. This is a church without walls, without doctrine and dogma. The purpose of this ministry is to raise spiritual consciousness and understanding in the world, toward healing of the human body, mind and spirit. This ministry supports freedom of choice and personal responsibility in all matters, including one's own spirituality and healing methods.
Because of her extended experience as a teacher on sacred ground and her journeys of learning through native, shamanic traditions and A Course in Miracles, Diane is able to meld a background in psychology and communications with the spiritual to assist in healing work in a variety of ways. Early personal experience is recorded in her first book, Blindwalk to Potter's Farm, An Odyssey of Spirit.
